Reconstructing the Collective
Location: Foro Boario, Rome, Italy
Spring 2025
Project created during semester long study abroad program in Rome, Italy. Large scale urban landscape project along the banks of the Tiber River. The project focuses on the idea of civic reparations by bringing a site lost to cars back to the people of Rome. Through non-transient programming: programming that is designed for locals, not tourists, the site is returned to pedestrians. Observations and diagramming made during the site research process informed decision making regarding site circulation and programming.
