Reconstructing the Collective
Location: Foro Boario, Rome, Italy
Spring 2025
Project created during semester long study abroad program in Rome, Italy. Large-scale urban landscape project along the banks of the Tiber River. The project focuses on civic reparations by bringing a site lost to cars back to the people of Rome. Through non-transient programming: programming that is designed for locals, not tourists, the site is returned to pedestrians. Observations and diagramming made during the site research process informed decision-making regarding site circulation and programming.
